Lori earned a Master’s Degree and worked in consulting before randomly trading her career for a Kindergarten curriculum one afternoon and homeschooling her children for the next few decades. She lives in Rossland, BC, with her husband, the (handsome) CMDA member Dr. Andrew Lawe, one Grade 12 daughter, a dog (a predator!) and a bunny (a prey!). They all live in perfect harmony all the time (More or less, okay?!)
Lori felt God’s nudge to write, launching her in a slightly different direction. She currently writes dramedy on Substack: “My life is a drama! For example, I don’t ALWAYS get what I want! People don’t ALWAYS do what I say! . . .” Her writing business card says: “Join people in thirty-three countries who read this to gain valuable life wisdom! (Or maybe they’re just laughing at me? . . . Whatever!)”
