Addiction, Personhood, and the Hope of the Gospel – April 4, 2025 at 3:00pm ET

What is addiction? Why is it such a devastating problem in our time? What might the Christian story have to say about what addiction is and how it is healed? This workshop aims to engage the contemporary addictions crises through the lens of a Christian understanding of what it means to be a person. We will consider foundational questions of the nature of addiction and build from that understanding to discuss how Christian physicians should care, hope, and pray for our patients with addictions.
