Student Ministry

CMDA Canada realizes the importance of ministering to Medical and Dental students. Their university experience presents different challenges that require special support. CMDA Canada has a variety of ministries and retreats geared especially toward students.

We have 13 Associate Staff members on campuses around the country tasked with acting as chaplains, support staff and leaders to help students connect with the greater medical community while they grow in faith. We also have annual retreats in both the Eastern and Western regions as well as our Student Leaders Conference, which give the students a chance to be mentored, dwell in fellowship with their peers, and also have a great time. Registration for both our Eastern Student Retreat and Western Student Retreat are live! This time spent in formation and community becomes a firm foundation for these students as they move into residency and then their careers as Doctors and Dentists.

CMDA Canada also sponsors students who want to do Mission Electives with a scholarship program to help them defray some of the cost.
