Gender Bias and Medicine (November 19th, 2022)

As members of CMDA Canada, we should all be aware of gender biases, especially as they pertain to our context(s) or role(s) in our practice and how it affects our work and learning. This special course seeks to help us recognize gender bias, reflect on our own biases, and identify strategies to mitigate bias. This event has been approved for CME credits.

This event was approved for a maximum of 2.75 hours of Section 1 credits on behalf of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This program also meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by The CME & PD Office of the Cumming School of Medicine University of Calgary for up to 2.75 Mainpro+ Group Learning credits. The program accreditation expires one year from the date of the learning activity: September 27, 2023.

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the University of Calgary Office of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development for up to 2.75 Mainpro+ credits.
