CMDA Canada Statement of Faith
Trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour, I believe in –
- The triune nature of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- The sovereignty of God in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgement.
- The divine inspiration, infallibility and supreme authority of Holy Scripture.
- The sinfulness of human nature.
- Redemption only through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God.
- The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer.
- One holy universal church, the Body of Christ, to which all believers belong.
- The personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
