Missions
Members going on both long-term and short term missions trips has always been at the core of CMDA Canada. To learn more about how CMDA Canada can come alongside you to provide a charitable receipt for the cost of your mission trip, contact our Administration and Finance Manager Laurie Schmuland. We also provide special scholarships for students doing mission electives.
Below is a list of a few of the most popular mission organizations our members have partnered with in the past. There are many more missions organizations in Canada and beyond to partner with that offer opportunities for medical and dental missions.
Global Health Outreach: As a ministry of CMDA US, Global Health Outreach is a short-term international missions program dedicated to providing healthcare while spreading the gospel by sending medical, dental and surgical teams around the world.
EMAS Canada: EMAS Canada seeks to heal, teach and serve those in need in a Christ-like manner. They engage in this mission in part by establishing long-term partnerships with local clinics and charities across the developing world.

The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
SIM Canada: The vision of SIM is to see a witness to Christ’s love where He is least known, disciples of Jesus expressing God’s love in their communities, and Christ-centred churches among all peoples.
Mercy Ships Canada: Using the largest civilian hospital ships in the world, Mercy Ships is committed to providing healthcare for all, reaching out to marginalized communities. For over 40 years, Mercy Ships has offered healing and restoration by offering direct medical services, Education, Training and Advocacy programs and strengthening relationships that improve healthcare systems.
